Behold our City of Science!

World Science Festival Brisbane returns this March, bigger and better than ever before.

Science, technology and art collide with interactive art and science installations, engaging discussions with leading scientists and experts, and an expansive program of free and ticketed events.

From 9-13 March, Brisbane will ignite with conversations that run the gamut from achieving a net zero future to embracing traditional science, new medicine, the expansion of the Universe and if it’s possible to unlock the anatomy of a joke. Alongside these innovative and new offerings, festival favourites will return to delight visitors of all ages, including The Turtle Hatchery, City of Science and a range of family entertainment at The Nucleus.

This year, Curiocity Brisbane features as a key pillar of World Science Festival Brisbane programming. Over 12 days, visitors can let their imaginations roam free with installations from high-profile artists that celebrate the connection between science, art and technology.

From STEM workshops and maths games to the first Get Green! Sustainability Market, there’s something for the whole family and budding scientists and creatives alike.

Don’t forget to check out our Digital Program. Now you can engage with the wonders of science through a curated program of pre-recorded conversations, all from the comfort of your home.
