Two sold out shows! On Saturday 2 July 2022 two all-star teams of scientists, tech heads and funny people battled through a series of challenges in the ultimate nerd showdown.
Hosted by comedian Mark Humphries, Night of the Nerds is the Festival’s very own, very nerdy variety game show!
The irrepressible Dr Karl, perched on the Throne of Knowledge, kept everyone on their toes, while Clare Bowditch and the house superband kept things rocking along. Our terrific teams faced off to tackle the important questions: what is the 10th decimal place of Pi? Does Marvel or DC have more arachnid inspired characters? And how long is a piece of string?

2:00pm Show Contestants: Bernie Hobbs, Stacey Thomson (Ranger Stacey), Karlie Noon and Professor Glenn King
7:30pm Show Contestants: Stav Davidson, Rhianna Patrick, Tegan Taylor and Professor Margaret Sheil
