  • What is World Science Festival Brisbane?

Hailed by The New York Times as ‘a new cultural institution’, the World Science Festival (WSF) – was founded by renowned physicist Professor Brian Greene and Emmy award-winning journalist Tracy Day and has been held in New York for more than a decade.

Queensland Museum Network holds exclusive licence to host WSF in the Asia Pacific – the only global extension of this initiative.

Each year World Science Festival Brisbane paints the town red and takes science out of the laboratory and into the streets, parks, museums, galleries and performing arts venues of Brisbane and regional Queensland.

The WSFB team are working hard on next year’s program, to stay up to date on all WSFB information subscribe to our email newsletter at the bottom of the page, like us on Facebook, Instagram and follow us on Twitter.
