STEAM Circus

STEAM Circus was born in 2018 and is the result of observing kids with learning differences engage with new ideas much more easily when they were learning to juggle and hula hoop! The brainchild of Dr Meg Hooper, a registered Organisational Psychologist who discovered a love of circus later in life. She has since trained and performed with Vulcana Women’s Circus and is the founder of Circus Ipswich – a community Youth Circus School in her home city of Ipswich, Queensland. Meg loves science and is passionate about the role Circus can play in making science accessible to ALL kids regardless of ability or learning preferences.
