Rochelle is a palaeontologist specialising in fossil preparation and digital preservation at the Queensland Museum. Her work uncovers our natural geo-heritage and makes it accessible for everyone to explore. She has worked in cultural heritage, natural history museums and palaeotourism with organisations across Queensland. Rochelle has taken part in many new fossil discoveries from prehistoric rainforests preserved in caves to dinosaurs found in the outback. Her research focus is on tropical ice age megafauna and the smaller creatures that make up these past ecosystems in understanding the evolution and extinction of Australia’s unique fauna.
