Owen Seeman

Owen Seeman is the Collection Manager for Arachnids at the Queensland Museum, where he also works as an acarologist (somebody who specialises on mites).

He arrived in acarology over 25 years ago, thanks to seasickness torpedoing aspirations in marine biology, and a realisation that he knew nothing about arachnids, except that most were not marine and they were more interesting than seashells.
