John Stanisic

Dr John Stanisic OAM (The Snail Whisperer) is an Honorary Research Fellow at the Queensland Museum and Australia’s foremost authority on land snails. He was Curator of Molluscs at the museum for 26 years and has described more than 400 new species. He is also lead author in two comprehensive field guides to the Australian land snail fauna.
