Applications for the Curiocity Brisbane 2024 Schools Challenge are now closed. Successful schools have been notified and artworks will be showcased during Curiocity Brisbane from 15-24 March 2024.

Each year, the Curiocity Brisbane Schools Challenge invites primary and secondary schools to submit ideas for a physical or digital artwork relating to one or more STEM principles.

The selected artworks are developed with a professional artist/designer/maker for presentation at Curiocity Brisbane. Selected students will also have the opportunity to travel to Queensland Museum in Brisbane to see the final artwork and more of the World Science Festival Brisbane program.

As a key feature of World Science Festival Brisbane, Curiocity Brisbane aims to transform central Brisbane into a playground for the public to engage with and be inspired by the intersection of science and art.
