ENCHANTED TROPICS is an Augmented Reality installation inspired by Queensland’s own flora and fauna. Visitors can point their smart devices at large cut out trees and watch them come to life with animated bugs, animals, blossoming flowers and falling leaves. Each animation will be accompanied by a magical soundscape. Think Fantasia by the Brisbane River, but instead of Mickey Mouse, we have a cheeky gecko orchestrating the fun!

Glowing butterflies, dragonflies and hummingbirds will flutter amongst the trees, while stunned unblinking possums watch from their hidey-holes, and hanging bats wait patiently before erupting into flight! The enchanted forest sets the stage for a talented cast of Queensland’s finest wildlife!
