Vincent Dalbo is a Senior Lecturer in Exercise and Sport Sciences within the School of Health, Medical and Applied Sciences at Central Queensland University. His specialisation is Exercise Physiology and he is interested in using diet and exercise to improve the health of the general population and to optimise physical performance in athletes.
In 2014, Vincent earned a Young Tall Poppy Award primarily for his work in the field of healthy ageing. More recently, Vincent has begun to focus more on athletic performance enhancement with an emphasis on basketball, and has worked on projects with the Australian Institute of Sport (AIS), National Basketball League (NBL), Women’s National Basketball League (WBL), and National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) teams. He also works with strength and conditioning coaches in the National Basketball Association (NBA).
