Dr Patrick Laffy is a Research Scientist and a Genomic Bioinformaticist at the Australian Institute of Marine Science and Adjunct Senior Lecturer at James Cook University in Townsville.
Patrick’s research centres on the role played by marine microbes within coral reef ecosystems. He focuses on how molecular methodology can help identify microbial community composition, particularly on the molecular processes microbes play in ecosystem dynamics
