Patrick Couper

Patrick Couper has been with the Queensland Museum for 32 years and is a curator in the Biodiversity Program. He is interested in Queensland’s diverse reptile fauna and has described 53 new species of reptiles, mainly lizards, and six new genera. He has worked extensively on leaf-tailed geckos and has an ongoing interest in the biology and conservation of marine turtles. He has collaborated with Dr Colin Limpus studying the Green and Loggerhead  Turtles feeding in Moreton Bay and Flatback Turtles nesting in far north Queensland.
