Michael Clarke

Michael Clarke is a presenter with ABC North Queensland. A long-time Queensland resident, Michael first came to Townsville in 1994 and worked in the ABC newsroom. He moved to presenting the Mornings show three years later, and has been helping audiences to wake up with the Breakfast program since 2002.

Michael also has a passion for popular culture, and has taken pride in showcasing the work of local artists, writers and actors to the region and beyond. He also hosts a weekly film review segment, and makes regular appearances at the Sydney Travelling Film Festival and Townsville Classic Films. You can catch Michael from 5am-9am each weekday on 630 ABC North Queensland.
