Mark Paterson

Mark Paterson is Chief Strategy Officer of Strategen global and Managing Director of Strategen Australia/Pacific. As a recognised thought leader in whole-system grid transformation, Mark has played key roles supporting Australia’s transition to become one of the world’s most deeply decentralised electricity systems. At CSIRO he led the Future Grid Forum and Electricity Network Transformation Roadmap projects which involved over 200 stakeholders in co-developing transition pathways for the 2017-27 decade. He now leads Strategen’s global strategy to support both the whole of system transformation of electricity grids and the emerging renewable hydrogen economy.
