Katie Glaskin

Katie Glaskin is an Associate Professor of Anthropology at the University of Western Australia. Her research interests include dreams, personhood, creativity, property, and more recently, extinction(s). Most of Katie’s work as an anthropologist has been with Aboriginal people in the Kimberley region of Western Australia, although she has also published work on robots in Japan. Katie’s work is characterised by both its cross-cultural and cross-disciplinary engagements, with publications spanning psychological anthropology, neuroanthropology, legal anthropology, environmental anthropology and the anthropology of art. Katie is also a practising painter and printmaker, who finds inspiration in dreams.
