Josh Calcino

Josh is a recent PhD graduate in astrophysics, with a passion for research and science communication. In his research Josh has studied a wide range of topics, including the nature of Dark Matter (a mysterious substance that accounts for most of the mass in the Universe), using exploding stars to constrain the expansion history of the Universe, and studying planet forming discs around young stars. Outside of research Josh enjoys communicating all the exciting things that human beings know about the cosmos, as well as exploring the planet Humanity calls home.
