Jesse Bering

Jesse Bering is Director of The Centre for Science Communication at the University of Otago in New Zealand. A frequent contributor to Scientific American and Slate, his essays have also appeared in Playboy, The New York Times, The Guardian and many other publications. His books include The Belief Instinct, Why is the Penis Shaped Like That? and Perv. His latest book, on the science of suicidology, will be released in August 2018.
