Ian Lowe

Ian Lowe AO is emeritus professor of science, technology and society at Griffith University and an adjunct professor at two other universities. He has published extensively and among a wide range of advisory roles for all levels of government, he chaired the advisory council for the first independent national report on the state of the environment and was on the expert advisory committee for the SA Nuclear Fuel Cycle Royal Commission. He has been a Fellow of the Australian Academy of Technology and Engineering since 2005 and the International Academy of Sciences, Health and Ecology recently awarded him the Konrad Lorenz Gold Medal for his contributions to sustainable futures.
