Graham Radford-Smith

Graham Radford-Smith is a senior specialist physician at the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital and Honorary Group Leader at QIMR Berghofer Medical Research Institute. He is responsible for the delivery of Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) services to Metro North, Wide Bay and Central Queensland, and is Chair of the ANZ IBD Consortium and the CrohnsColitisCure charity (http://c-c-cure.org/anzibdc/). Graham is also a founding member of the International IBD Genetics Consortium (IIBDGC).

Graham’s research interests include IBD, using health information to optimise patient outcomes, role of the gut in human health and disease, and personalised medicine. He is also a passionate advocate for improving patient outcomes and assessing how the healthcare community can best utilise available resources and research to optimise delivery of care.
