Dietmar W. Hutmacher

Dietmar W. Hutmacher is a biomedical engineer, an educator, an inventor, and a creator of new intellectual property opportunities. Currently he is a Distinguished Professor at QUT where he directs the Centre for Regenerative Medicine and the ARC Training Centre in Additive Biomanufacturing, a multidisciplinary team of researchers including engineers, cell biologists, polymer chemists, clinicians, and veterinary surgeons. Dietmar is also an internationally recognised leader in the fields of bioengineering, biomaterials, tissue engineering and regenerative medicine.
