Deirdre Barrett

Deirdre Barrett, PhD is a psychologist at Harvard University where she teaches courses on dreams. She is Past President of the International Association for the Study of Dreams and The Society for Psychological Hypnosis. She has written four books including The Committee of Sleep, and is the editor of four more including Trauma and Dreams. Dr. Barrett has published dozens of academic articles and chapters on dreams, hypnosis, sleep talking and evolutionary psychology. Her current focus is dreams and creative problem solving and lucid dreaming. For the past three years, she has been making, exhibiting, and selling her dream art.
