Chrissy Arthur

Chrissy Arthur joined ABC in 1994 and has worked in various roles including as a news reporter, station manager and breakfast presenter in NSW and Queensland. She joined ABC Capricornia as the Chief of Staff in 2016 – exactly 21 years after she worked there as a rural reporter. Chrissy was awarded the LGAQ’s Bean, Lockyer, Ticehurst award for excellence in regional journalism in 2015 for her reporting on drought in western Queensland. Chrissy is married with five children, and enjoys reading and family time. She also tries to keep active and loves a challenge.
