Belinda Annette Nicholson

Belinda Nicholson is lecturer and researcher at the University of Southern Queensland’s Centre of Astrophysics. She recently completed her PhD at USQ, and prior to that completed a Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in Physics at the University of Melbourne. Belinda’s current research involves investigating the behaviour of ‘teenage’ stars, and hunting for planets with USQ’s Minerva Australia telescope facility. Her work has taken her all over Australia and the world, from presenting her work at conferences in Europe and the United States, to collecting data on mountains in New South Wales and South America.
