Andrew Crowden

Andrew Crowden is a practical ethicist and bioethicist with extensive experience in clinical, research and organisational ethics. He is Associate Professor in Philosophy at University of Queensland’s School of Historical and Philosophical Inquiry, an Honorary Associate Professor at the University of Melbourne and has Ph.D. and Master degrees from the Bioethics Centre at Monash University. Andrew is Chairperson of the University of the Sunshine Coast Human Research Ethics Committee and a member of the Australian Institute of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Studies Research Ethics Committee. His research in philosophy, ethics and genomics is funded by the University of Queensland, the Queensland Genomic Health Alliance and the John Templeton Foundation in collaboration with the University of Virginia and QIMR Berghofer Medical Research Institute.
