Alicia Heskett

Alicia Heskett was passionate about science from a young age, fascinated with how things work. She pursued a career in engineering as the practical application of science focusing on generating change, and then headed to the resources sector, where science and engineering meet. She actively seeks out field roles where she can engage with operators on-site and has worked from safety to operations and commissioning. Alicia is an advocate for science communication, founding youth science organisations and mentoring in her communities.Through her work she also contributes to shifting societal perspectives towards equality and encouraging women.
