Alexa Dewar

Alexa Dewar is a young emerging artist with a deep curiosity about the human experience and movement practice.
Based in Brisbane (Australia), Alexa has a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance Performance from Queensland University of Technology (QUT). Her studies inspired her direction towards collaborative and multidisciplinary processes. Alexa is captivated by the ‘moving identity’ and the infinitely diverse ways that dancers can recreate themselves informed by past physical and emotional experiences. This drives her to continuously expand her practice, looking for opportunities to learn from diverse experiences, ideas, and people.
Alexa looks forward to a career filled with interesting, nurturing experiences and collaborations.
