Alison Mann

Alison commenced her association with the Queensland Museum when she volunteered as Artefact Registrar on the 1998 and 1999 expeditions to excavate the wreck of HMS Pandora (1791).

Quickly following this work she was appointed to the role of Assistant Curator – Maritime Archaeology as a member of the Curatorial team researching and developing exhibits for the Pandora Gallery at the then new Museum of Tropical Queensland.

Her research interests include artefact classification systems within maritime archaeological collections and online access to the museum collections.
