Stargazing Celestron Telescope Competition

To celebrate the World Science Festival Brisbane 2018, our Stargazing events and the wonders of astronomy, our partners in stargazing, Celestron, offered the chance to win one of two Celestron Nextstar Evolution 6 telescopes valued at $2,875. Congratulations to Dale and Jess – lucky winners who will now be stargazing with their very own Celestron telescopes.

Fun fact:
Celestron have been the leading manufacturer of telescopes, one of their scopes was even used in Steven Spielberg’s Close Encounters of the Third Kind.

From Dr Karl and Night of the Nerds to finding out what spooked Einstein, this year’s festival will help you discover your why.
