  • What are the dates of World Science Festival Brisbane 2021?

    A celebration of science and art will once again return to Brisbane and Regional Queensland in 2021.

    6 – 7 June 2021

  • Is WSFB a COVID safe event?

    The health and wellbeing of our visitors, staff and volunteers to WSFB and Queensland Museum is our priority.

    Visitors will be required to book tickets in advance to WSFB and will need to either book or register contact details on arrival at Queensland Museum.

    We have increased cleaning frequency, handwashing and sanitiser facilities and have installed distance markers for queuing to help keep you safe.

    You can play your part by keeping the following in mind:

    • Stay at home if you are unwell
    • Stay 1.5 metres apart from others
    • Wash your hands regularly or use our sanitisation stations
    • Avoid touching your face
    • Cover coughs and sneezes
    • Consider downloading the COVIDSafe app to your phone
    • Visitor capacity limits apply
    • Frequent cleaning in progress.
  • What date will the 2021 WSFB program be announced?

    The full program of events and activities will be announced in the first week of February 2021.

  • Where can I get a WSFB program?

    Printed programs will be available at many major information centres and libraries around Brisbane from February. However, all the information you need will be right here on the website, and once the program is announced you will be able to download a PDF of the program.

  • Is WSFB free?

    Each year WSFB programs a diverse range of events and activities ensuring there is something for everyone – this includes some paid events and many free activities!

  • How do I buy tickets?

    WSFB tickets are purchased through this website, check back once the program is announced to secure your spot.

  • Where can I get more information?

  • Will there be access for people with accessibility needs?

    Queensland Museum welcomes all visitors and more accessibility information can be found here.

  • Is parking available?

    If you are visiting Queensland Museum accessible parking can be found on the lower level of the Queensland Museum car park.

    Lifts from the car park to the Level 2 main entrance will connect you with lifts to other levels of the building.
