Students will have the chance to wonder through the exciting hands-on activities in the City of Science, and also be part of the audience to see schools competing in the coveted Schools Innovation Challenge.

Camouflage Master: Lifecycles

Give students the opportunity to get up close and experience first-hand the different life cycle stages of the Goliath Stick Insect, a local resident of many suburban backyards in South East Queensland.

Microorganisms and Malaria

Students will learn about the microorganisms that cause malaria, the deadliest parasitic disease of humans. You will also learn about malaria in birds, and examine images of bird blood smears. Can you spot the parasites in each image?
