NATIONAL YOUTH SCIENCE FORUM: Five Minutes With Your Future
21 March 2019
Cafe Muse, Queensland Museum

Summary

If you have got a passion for science and want to grill the next generation of upcoming scientists, then come and meet a university student and pick their scientific brains!

If you like studying science or are interested in a career in science then who better to talk to for more information than people currently studying a range of sciences or those that have recently graduated! This is your chance to meet a chemist with an element of surprise; a biologist with designer genes; an electrical engineer with an extra big hertz … sorry, heart!

On Thursday, 21 March, the National Youth Science Forum (NYSF) is hosting an event designed for you to put these new or almost-there scientists to the test. Ask them your toughest questions about completing high school science and what courses to study at university. NYSF alumni will also be available for a chat. During the one-hour session, you are welcome to move around the groups and make the most of this important and fun opportunity.
