MUSEUM CURATOR’S APPRENTICE: Terrestrial Biodiversity
21 March 2019
Level 6, Biodiversity Lab

Summary

The Apprentice programs are small, hands-on workshops in which scientists, technologists and innovators educate curious minds on the workings and wonders of their chosen fields.

In the Museum Curator’s Apprentice, a team of Queensland Museum biologists introduce ‘apprentices’ to Queensland’s remarkable biodiversity, with a focus on animal species that reside on land. By sharing their scientific expertise and passion for collections and research, these biologists will reveal how old and new technologies have come together to dramatically change the sciences of taxonomy, systematics and evolutionary biology.
