ENERGY INNOVATION CHALLENGE PRESENTATION
23 March 2017
Queensland Museum Theatre

Summary

Come along to the World Science Festival Brisbane 2017’s Energy Innovation Challenge Final Presentation, where you will see four of the best ideas received through the Challenge pitched to our international guest, science prodigy 14-year-old Hannah Herbst.

The Challenge invites participants to pitch ideas around energy sustainability – its use, conservation or generation. Your innovative plan can be as simple as boosting our understanding of energy sustainability, finding cost-effective strategies to reduce energy consumption or creating completely new ways to produce power.

Entries will be judged by Dr Vanessa Peterson, Principal Research and Neutron Scattering Instrument Scientist leading the Energy Materials Research Project at ANSTO (Australian Nuclear Science and Technology Organisation).

Enter the challenge or come along to the presentation

Why not enter the challenge or if you would like to be part of the audience but don’t want to submit a pitch, please register your interest in attending by emailing [email protected]. This is a free ticketed event.
