This hands-on, interactive workshop will showcase the art and science of Queensland Museum’s conservators. These enthusiastic experts apply scientific techniques to determine the material, chemical and technical aspects of cultural heritage. Join senior conservators Cathy ter Bogt and Solitaire Osei to explore how they investigate objects and treat the collection materials they deal with through hands-on activities inside the museum laboratory.
Please note there are only 10 places per session. Participants must be aged 15 and over and covered footwear is essential.
