THE CURIOUS WORLD OF PHYSICS: The Power of Matter and Energy (Years 7-12)
11 March 2022
Playhouse, QPAC

Summary

How can we understand the universe? With physics of course!

The same laws of physics apply to every aspect of the world we live in—from colliding galaxies to roller-skating. University of Queensland physics experts will de-mystify the exciting world of physics through live demonstrations and colourful explanations. You’ve never seen anything like this before!

Moderated by award winning science writer and presenter Bernie Hobbs this program is recommended for school students in Years 7-12.

THE CURIOUS WORLD OF PHYSICS: The Power of Matter and Energy is presented with Education Partner, QPAC.

This program addresses key curriculum, including: Year 4 (ACSHE061, ACSIS064, ACSIS071), Year 5 (ACSIS231, ACSIS093), Year 6 (ACSIS232, ACSIS110), Year 7 (ACSIS124, ACSIS133), Year 8 (ACSIS139, ACSIS133).
