Summary

World Science Festival Brisbane and STEM Punks are bringing ‘Innovation Sports’ to Brisbane!

Eight Schools will be invited to compete in a Design Thinking and Minecraft speed build challenge. There will be two qualifying rounds and a final.

This competition is to find the region’s quickest thinkers, fastest builders and best designers… the prize? Bragging rights and of course the championship belt!

Recommended for school students in Years 4 – 7.

This program addresses key curriculum, including Year 3 and 4 (ACTDIK007, ACTDIK008, ACTDIP010, ACTDIP012, ACTDEK010, ACTDEP015, ACTDEP017, ACTDEP018, Years 5 and 6 (ACTDIK014, ACTDIP016, ACTDIP017, ACTDIP019, ACTDEK019, ACTDEP024, ACTDEP025, ACTDEK023, ACTDEP028).
