The ocean holds many hidden secrets, and unlocking some these underwater mysteries is a fascinating art. From shipwrecks to marine ecosystems, Queensland Museum’s Senior Curator of Maritime Archaeology Dr Maddy McAllister will share some of her remarkable diving adventures, as well as the challenges and rewards of caring for more than 8,000 artefacts recovered along the Queensland coastline that are currently in the Queensland Museum collection.

Pandora Gallery at MTQ

HMS Pandora was the British Royal Navy warship dispatched to the South Pacific in pursuit of the infamous Bounty mutineers. Today, the mutiny on the Bounty remains one of the best-known stories in the history of seafaring. Museum of Tropical Queensland’s Pandora Gallery is an interactive exhibit for all ages.
