Long before western science came to Australia, our First Nations people possessed an extensive knowledge of the chemical and physical properties of our native plants. They knew which plants to value for their medicinal and nutritional properties, and which had toxic poisons that needed to be removed or avoided.
Take a walk through our Australian Rainforest and learn about some of Australia’s most useful plants and bush foods. Learn how Western science is finally catching up with traditional knowledge.
