Summary

From redesigning public transport systems to exploring how we travel in cities around the world, this interactive workshop has been designed to get students reimaging how we move around our cities and around the world.  

Students will work on a range of challenges around the future of transport in a fun and creative environment. 

This workshop is recommended for school Years 3 – 6.

This program addresses key curriculum, including Year 3 (ACSHE051), Year 4 (ACSHE062), Year 5 (ACSHE081, ACSHE083), Year 6 (ACSHE098, ACSHE100).

Future of Rail: A Design Challenge

In this activity, students design and develop a ‘clean’ train and rail system used to transport valuable collection items between metropolitan and regional museums across the state.
