Join Queensland Museum archaeologists as they identify hundreds of artefacts recently excavated from Albert St, the site of Brisbane’s first red-light district. The archaeological work, undertaken as part of the Cross River Rail project, uncovered artefacts ranging from opium picks to dinner sets and alcohol bottles, providing us with insight into the lives of the people living in the Frog’s Hollow. Museum archaeologists will work through the collection, photographing and documenting the significant artefacts.
