Beatrix Potter’s sketches of mycelium over 100 years ago were considered irrelevant, however today those same sketches are regarded as significant.
Mycelium is vital to our soils, breaking down organic material for reuse. They are a vital communication and nutrient network supporting 92% of the earths flora.
Explore this hyperconnected underworld of mycelium through the eyes and lense of artists and naturalists Tara Pattenden, Steve Axford and Catherine Marciniak.
Presented with Curiocity Brisbane.
