Summary

This year City of Science and the cultural precinct will see a collection of inspiring and thought provoking art installations and activation’s. Local artist’s and designers have joined arms to create a series of large scale outdoor public artworks at the very intersection of science and art.

Kirsten Baade has constructed a large sculpture of an ibis out of collected garbage with an internal metal frame. The work is a statement about the changing habits of wildlife such as an ibis in urban environments.

You will find Kirsten’s giant Bin Chicken in District 5.
