  • When is the Festival on?

    The school holiday program is on Monday 6 April to Friday 17 April 2020 (closed on Good Friday, 10 April).

    Dr Karl events for the general public are on Saturday 18 April at Blank Space and other events are at the Cobb+Co Museum on Sunday 19 April.

    Dr Karl events for schools are on Monday 20 April 2020 at the Empire Church Theatre.

  • Where is the Festival held?

    Events in Toowoomba are held at various venues:

    The community day on Sunday 19 April 2020 is held at Cobb+Co Museum, 27 Lindsay Street, Toowoomba.

    Dr Karl events on Saturday 18 April 2020 are held at Blank Space, The Mills Precinct, 291 Ruthven Street, Toowoomba.

    Dr Karl school students events on Monday 20 April, held at Empire Church Theatre, 54-56 Neil Street, Toowoomba.

  • Is it free?

    The school holiday program is included with the general Museum entry admission charge. Details are here.

    Dr Karl events at both Blank Space and the Empire Church Theatre are charged. Events at the museum are free.

  • How do I book a ticketed event?

    Events held at the Empire Church Theatre can be booked directly via the Empire Theatre website.

    Events held at Blank Space and the museum can be booked via QTIX on the Festival website.

  • Is the event happening anywhere else?

    Yes, the Festival runs throughout 2020 at multiple locations across Queensland:

    Chinchilla – 28 to 29 February 2020

    Gladstone – 20 to 21 March 2020

    Brisbane – 25 to 29 March 2020

    Toowoomba – 18 & 19 April 2020, with a holiday program 6 to 17 April (closed Good Friday, 10 April)

    Townsville – 15 to 16 May 2020 with a holiday program 19 September to 5 October 2020

    Ipswich – 27 to 28 November 2020 with a holiday program 27 June to 12 July 2020
