  • When is the Festival on?

    A student day is on Friday 28 February 2020 and events for the general public are on Saturday 29 February 2020.

  • Where is the Festival held?

    All Chinchilla events are held at Chinchilla Cultural Centre, located at 80-86 Heeney Street.

  • Is it free?

    The activities on the student day (Friday 28 February) are free for school students, but bookings are required. Booking instructions can be found on the relevant event page.

    The activities and events on the community day (Saturday 29 February) are free of charge, and seating for each session will be on a first come, first served basis.

  • How do I book a ticketed event?

  • Is the event happening anywhere else?

    Yes, the Festival runs throughout 2020 at multiple locations across Queensland:

    Chinchilla – 28 to 29 February 2020

    Gladstone – 20 to 21 March 2020

    Brisbane – 25 to 29 March 2020

    Toowoomba – 18 & 19 April 2020, with a holiday program 6 to 17 April (closed Good Friday, 10 April)

    Townsville – 15 to 16 May 2020 with a holiday program 19 September to 5 October 2020

    Ipswich – 27 to 28 November 2020 with a holiday program 27 June to 12 July 2020
