Stacey Thomson, more affectionately known as Ranger Stacey is a television and radio personality, presenter, MC, wildlife communicator, writer and producer.
As a 1990’s pin-up girl for the environment she has entertained, educated and inspired generations of animal lovers and conservationists. Stacey began her career as a qualified Ranger with Queensland National Parks and Wildlife Service. In the late 1980’s, her knowledge combined with a sense of natural wonder and bubbly personality caught the attention of TV executives … and Stacey’s television career blossomed.
Her television credits include the multiple Logie Award winning Wombat and Agro’s Cartoon Connection, as well as the iconic Totally Wild. For more than three decades, Stacey has cuddled koalas and wrangled reptiles … she is everyone’s favourite Ranger. Her only fears are grasshoppers, eels and heights!
