Gene Moyle

Gene Moyle has worked across a dynamic mix of fields including the performing arts, elite sport and the corporate sector. After graduating from the Australian Ballet School, QUT Dance and performing with the Australian Ballet Dancers Company and Queensland Ballet, Gene pursued further studies in psychology, completing a Masters and Doctorate in Sport and Exercise Psychology. Gene is currently a Professor and Head of School in the Creative Industries Faculty at Queensland University of Technology.

Gene has supported Olympic Winter sports programs across three Olympic cycles and has worked extensively within the elite sporting system at both State and National level. She is a Board Member of the Queensland Ballet, Queensland Board of the Psychology Board of Australia, National President of Ausdance National, a member of the National Committee of the APS College of Sport and Exercise Psychologists, and a Performance Health Advisory Panel member for the Queensland Academy of Sport.
