Ashley Haywood

Ashley Haywood is a writer, researcher and poet. She has seen her work published and performed in Australia and overseas. She recently received a PhD in Creative Research with her thesis titled ‘Harlequin Blue and The Picasso Experiment’ on signs, minds and creativity, or how to write like painting. Ashley’s background in genetics and molecular biology continues to influence her creative interests, guiding many of her pursuits into the arts-science nexus. She is currently interested in locating the cell of her art.
