Summary

Explore the potential origins of faith

It’s a trait shared by every culture from the dawn of humankind: imagining planes of existence beyond the reach of our senses, spiritual domains that shape our Earthly experiences. But why are beliefs of the fantastic so wide spread? Do they arise as a mere byproduct of human cognitive evolution or are they driven by some other force?   Bridging the gap between science and religion, Festival co-founder and renowned physicist Brian Greene, joined by neuroscientists, philosophers, anthropologists, and evolutionary biologists, will explore one of the most profound mysteries of our existence.
