Summary

Charles T. Gray is a mathematician, women’s advocate and proud mathbassador for the Australian Mathematical Sciences Institute’s ‘Choose Maths’ program.  Charles lectures in mathematics at LaTrobe University and is undertaking a PhD in statistical data science.  She spent almost twenty years working as a classically trained pianist and music teacher until she rediscovered maths and forged a new career.

Charles will talk about her career path and how she sees parallels between the patterns of music and maths.
